This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which Gorilla AI LLC ("PodGorilla") will issue refunds for charges related to the PodGorilla Service. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to this policy.
2. The $1 Trial
PodGorilla offers a 7-day trial for $1 on eligible plans. The $1 trial fee is a nominal access charge and is non-refundable except in cases of accidental duplicate charges.
The trial gives you full access to the Service for 7 days. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew at the regular subscription rate unless you cancel before the trial ends.
To cancel during your trial: Log into your account and cancel your subscription from the billing settings page, or contact us at support@podgorilla.co before the trial expires. You will retain access until the end of the 7-day period.
3. Subscription Refunds
PodGorilla subscriptions are generally non-refundable. When you subscribe, you are paying for access to the Service for the billing period you selected (monthly or annually). Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid.
Annual Plans
If you purchase an annual plan and cancel within 14 days of your annual renewal date without having used the Service during the new billing period, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused remainder of the year. We evaluate these requests on a case-by-case basis.
Monthly Plans
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. You retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period after cancellation.
4. Eligible Refund Circumstances
We will issue refunds in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error.
- Charge after cancellation: You were charged after properly cancelling your subscription and receiving a cancellation confirmation.
- Service unavailability: The Service was unavailable for an extended period (more than 72 consecutive hours) due to issues on our end, and we were unable to provide a reasonable remedy.
- Unauthorized charge: You can demonstrate that the charge was made without your authorization and you have contacted us promptly upon discovering it.
- Billing error: You were charged an incorrect amount due to a pricing or billing system error on our end.
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge in question.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- The $1 trial fee (except for duplicate/erroneous charges);
- Monthly subscription fees once the billing period has begun;
- Annual subscription fees after 14 days from the renewal date, or if the Service has been used during the current annual period;
- Charges for exceeding usage limits or add-on purchases;
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy;
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated output quality, as results vary based on inputs and we cannot guarantee specific quality outcomes;
- Change of mind after using the Service.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us using any of the following methods:
- Email: support@podgorilla.co — include your account email address, the charge amount, the date of charge, and the reason for your refund request.
- Support portal: Submit a ticket at support.podgorilla.co
Please include as much detail as possible to help us process your request quickly. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity or the circumstances of your claim.
7. Processing Time
We will review and respond to refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
We will send you an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
8. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us at support@podgorilla.co before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support team.
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension while the dispute is under review. If a chargeback is filed fraudulently or in bad faith, we reserve the right to take appropriate action including reporting to fraud prevention services.
